In Cairo, three thieves break into a mansion, looking for a valuable urn. One picks the urn up and a symbol on it Feats of Clay 1glows and disappears. Clay Muniz, one of the thieves, takes possession of the urn and the three plan to meet up in San Francisco. The Guardian of the Urn appears to another of the thieves, Wesley, and places a spider on his chest. The spider delivers a fatal bite as Clay and Palmer escape. Palmer is the only one who witnesses Wesley’s death. Three days later, Clay appears at the Halliwell Manor; he turns out to be an ex-boyfriend of Phoebe.

While Boogie Fever has its share of boffo disco hits — Anita Ward‘s “Ring My Bell,” “Get Down Tonight” from KC & the Disco 2Sunshine Band, and Taste of Honey classic “Boogie Oogie Oogie,” are all here with bells on — it makes room on its dancefloor for lesser-known numbers, too. There’s the slightly crazed, funky stomp of Peter Brown‘s “Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me,” the Gibson Brothers‘ infectious “Nonstop Dance,” and that forgotten slice of disco pie, Rokotto‘s “Boogie on Top.” Now, that’s a lot of boogying for anybody to handle, which means Boogie Fever is only recommended for the true disco fanatics, or those looking to dig a little deeper for their next retro dance party. The origins of Ratt go as far back as 1973 in Hollywood, California, with a band called Firedome. Stephen Pearcy had formed this band with a few friends; in 1974 the band broke up, with Pearcy forming Crystal Pystal. The name Crystal Pystal was later changed to Buster Cherry, which turned into Mickey Ratt in 1976, which was formed by Ratt’s founding member, vocalist Stephen Pearcy. Several CDs have been released of the Mickey Ratt line-ups, including several demo compilations and a live concert. Related bands included: Metropolis (Tommy Asakawa, Robbin Crosby, Parramore McCarty), Xcalibur (Asakawa, Crosby), Phenomenon (Asakawa, Crosby), Secret Service (Asakawa, Crosby), and Mac Meda (Asakawa, Crosby).

REO Speedwagon (originally styled as R.E.O. Speedwagon) is an American rock band. Formed in 1967, the band cultivated a following during the 1970s and achieved significant commercial success throughout the 1980s. Hi Infidelity (1980) contained four US Top 40 hits and is the group’s best-selling album, with over ten million copies sold.

Over the course of its career, the band has sold more than 40 million records and has charted thirteen Top 40 hits, including the number ones “Keep On Loving You” and “Can’t Fight This Feeling“. REO Speedwagon’s mainstream popularity dissipated in the 1990s but the band remains a popular live act.
